Living The Semi-Retired Life: The Worst Thing You Can Do When You're Naturally Ambitious And Excited
I have been working a lot lately
The other night I woke up at 3:30 in the morning.
For the life of me I couldn’t fall back to sleep. I also didn’t try all that hard. Because I knew it was a futile effort.
I was awake. And it was going to stay that way. Somewhere around 3:45, I made a deal with myself. I’d stay in bed until 5:00 a.m.
At 5:00 on the dot, I slowly removed my ear plugs and took the 30-second walk to work. By the time I sat down at my desk—the kitchen table—it was 5:01 in the morning.
This isn’t a story about insomnia.
It’s a story about being an idiot.
