I absolutely 100% could live in a place.

*Madison, WI

*Port Washington, WI

*Valetta, Malta

*Orajestand, Aruba

*San Diego

*Hood River, Oregon

*Portland

-------------------------------------

I wouldn’t make it a point to live here, but it would not be the end of the world if I had to.

*London

*Anguilla

*Milwaukee

*Outer Banks, NC

*Charleston, SC

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I couldn’t (or just don’t want to) live there, but will go back multiple times for extended periods.

*Nassau

*Saint Martin

*Grand Cayman

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cities I have yet to visit and can’t wait to see:

It's a long list. lol. Two off the top of my head:

*Pittsburgh, PA

*Panama City, Panama

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I won’t go out of my way to visit again.

*Memphis

*Punta Cana

*Florida

I absolutely 100% could live in a place:

*Southport, North Carolina

*Kauai, Hawaii

*San Jose del Cabo, Mexico

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wouldn't make it a point to live here, but not end of the world:
*Maui, Hawaii
*Folsom, California
*Santa Barbara, California
*Auburn, Alabama
*Des Moines, Iowa
*Lincoln, Nebraska
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I couldn't (or just don't want to) but will go back multiple times for extended periods:

*(Home home) Lincoln / Ithaca, Nebraska

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cities I have yet to visit and cannot wait to see:
100% could live here:
*Seattle
*Hudson Valley, NY
*On a small piece of property outside of Port Townsend, WA
*Anywhere on the central California coast, like San Luis Obispo
*Barcelona
*London
*NYC
-----
Not my first choice, but I could live here:
*Duluth, MN / Superior, WI
*Stillwater, MN
*St. Peter, MN
*Boulder, CO
*Reno/Truckee/Lake Tahoe area
*Vancouver Island or one of the San Juan Islands in WA
*Little Rock/Conway Arkansas or Branson area in Missouri
*Cleveland, OH
*Chelan/Methow Valley/Twisp/Winthrop WA
*Cape Cod or Long Island (my imaginary life is to write books on the beach by day and tend bar at a local dive at night and say things like, "What'll it be, hon?")
-----
These would be a stretch, but ok:
*Wenatchee/Leavenworth/Ellensburg WA
*Sedona, AZ
*Portland, OR (love to visit, wouldn't want to live there)
-----
Never been, but curious about:
*Zug, Switzerland (obviously)
*Yorkshire/Dales/Lake District in the UK
*Sweden
*Istanbul
*Morocco
*Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
*A coastal town in Kenya
*New Zealand
*Atlanta
*South Carolina
*Belem or Sao Luis, Brazil (was there as a teenager, would like to go back as an adult)
-----
Refuse to live and pay taxes here:
*Texas
*Florida
*Idaho
-----
*Would consider moving to any U.S. swing state where my vote actually counted.
-----
*I need to live near a body of water - ocean, inlet, lake, river. I'm not built for prairie/desert/plains life.
These are all great. Including a few by email.
Sadly, not enough to compile data. But worth a shot.
I love the responses, especially Jen's swing state comment.
There really is something to be said for places like Cleveland, Pittsburgh and, yes, Buffalo.
